Jim Mitchell is a former State Representative and a life-long resident of Lake Stevens. He was recently re-elected as Sewer Commissioner and began his fourth term in January of 2008. Jim was one of the residents who helped form the District 50 years ago in an effort to protect the lake from pollution caused by septic systems. |
George Wood joined the Board in 2002 after retiring from Kimberly Clark, where he managed in the areas of Finance and Human Resources. George grew up in Lake Stevens and continues to be actively involved in our community. |
Jack Hatlen was appointed to serve as Commissioner in 1998, and since that time has been elected to serve two additional terms. Jack is a former University of Washington professor of Environmental Health. Many of Jack’s former students are leaders in the Environmental Health field throughout the state and across the country. |
