George Wood joined the Board in 2002 after
retiring from Kimberly Clark, where he
managed in the areas of Finance and Human
Resources. George grew up in Lake Stevens
and continues to be actively involved in our
community.

Dan Lorentzen was recently appointed to the
Board of Commissioners for the Lake Stevens
Sewer District January 2012. He brings a
wealth of knowledge and experience at the
management level, in working with the public
sector. As a lifelong resident, Dan is
active in the community and currently serves
as the President for the Lake Stevens Lions
Club.

Brent Kirk is the former Drainage District 8
Administrator in charge of water quality in
the Lake Stevens watershed and a former
member of the Lake Stevens Planning
Commission. He is a lifelong resident of
Lake Stevens and currently serves as the
Public Works Director for the City of
Granite Falls. Brent has served on numerous
sub-committees over the years guiding
environmental regulations in the area and
has a strong commitment to the future
environmental and economic health of the
community.
