Residential Customer Tips

When buying or selling a property in the Lake Stevens Sewer District, the please contact our office at (425) 334-8588 to provide us with the correct billing information for the sewer account.  We will require the new owner's name, phone number, property address and mailing address. 

The billing statements from the Lake Stevens Sewer District are mailed the first of the month and payment is due by the 25th of the same month.  For more information about the statement, look here:  billing statement

Duplicate Billing Announcement We are pleased to announce that the Lake Stevens Sewer District is now able to offer a new service for duplicate billing. Therefore, if you would like a separate sewer bill mailed to another party (such as a property management firm or a homeowner’s association) you may now request that service for an additional fee of $1.00 per month. If you would like to start this service please complete the Request for Duplicate billing form which can be found on our website (see on-line forms).

Since the legal property owner (owner of record) is responsible for all sewer fees, this request can only be made by the legal owner. Once the completed form is received we will start the duplicate billing and apply the service fee to your account.

Effective August 15, 2008 we will be changing all mailing addresses to the owner of record for the service address; this means, as of September 1, 2008, the billing statements will be mailed to the owner of records mailing address. A duplicate bill could be sent to the renter, property manager, or homeowners association with your approval upon completing and returning of the enclosed form.
