Commissioner Dan Lorentzen

Dan Lorentzen is a lifelong resident, having been born and raised in Lake Stevens.  Dan was a Lake Stevens Police Officer for over twenty years and became the Chief of Police in 2014.  Dan retired as Lake Stevens Police Chief in 2016 and went to work for Snohomish County as a Fire Marshal, investigating fires.  He is not only a lifelong resident of our town but has served our community in many facets.  His public service has included Fire Commissioner, President/member of the Lake Stevens Lions Club and has previously held a sewer commissioner position for Lake Stevens Sewer District from January 2012 - December 2013, filling a short-term vacated position.  We welcome Dan back as a Sewer District Commissioner.

Jennifer Stevenson Commish

Commissioner Jennifer Stevenson
Commissioner Position #2

Jennifer was chosen to fill our vacant Commissioner position on November 5, 2020.  She is a 20+ year resident of Lake Stevens and has served our community in many different facets including, being a local small business owner, serving on PTA boards for her children's schools, volunteering at her local church for over 10 years, and serving in local community outreach programs and projects. Jennifer is excited for this new chapter, she will work hard for our citizens and the great Lake Stevens Community.

Commissioner Kevin Kosche
Commissioner Position #3

Kevin Kosche was elected to the Board January 2018. Kevin is a lifelong resident of Lake Stevens, has been married to his wife Christy for over 25 years and is a Dad. He has held leadership roles with John Fluke Manufacturing, GTE Northwest (now Frontier Communications); Qwest Communications (now CenturyLink), Siemens and Cisco. Kevin graduated from Lake Stevens High School in 1987 and earned a Bachelor’s of Science in Finance from Central Washington University in 1991, graduating Cum Laude.
